Graphic Nature Recording Studios - Rehearsal Room 3
When the recording day is done, our spacious live room doubles up as our largest rehearsing space, rehearsal room three. The room measures in at 42 metres square, and is big enough to comfortably accommodate even the largest of bands, ensembles and a range of instruments from double bass to grand piano. Room three provides a custom tailored and exciting acoustic environment to give you a fresh perspective on your performance and provides distinctive room reverberations which build pleasant harmonics on your music, while the bass trap at the narrowest section of the room controls troublesome low frequencies. Room three is situated right at the heart of Graphic Nature and when writing and recording you get a real sense of the excitement and vigour that our rehearsal and recording space offers with the bar, lounge and pool table right outside your room. As room three isn’t just simply designed for rehearsing, it also offers you the option of having your rehearsals to be recorded at an excellent price by our in house specialists, with the use of our professional range of microphones and recording software. Many of our most prestigious artists and regular customers choose this as an option in advance of either a full scale recording production to determine the best use of the acoustic space, or as a means to share their music on a more economical level. For more information, see Live Recording Sessions. A 2kW PA system is used for rehearsal sessions, with a wide range of back-line and drum-kits available to hire. Graphic Nature Recording Studios prides itself on providing this well maintained, air-conditioned and unique studio at our competitive rates. System specification:
WiFi access available to all our clients, as well as full use of the bar and lounge facilities. We are wheelchair accessible with easy ground floor loading for equipment. “We first used Graphic Nature in January 2007 for rehearsals. Since then, we've used it regularly with other acts for rehearsals and recording/mixing - sometimes for blocks of days, sometimes for just hours. Yes, it's local, yes it's convenient, and yes, it's competitive - but those elements alone aren't enough for us to keep going back. Quality, professionalism, facilities, adaptability and friendliness all are.”
