Graphic Nature Demo Day & Charity Raffle

On Saturday 26th March 2011, Graphic Nature Recording Studios will be hosting a very special Demo Day. The day will include the display of a huge range of LD Systems equipment, from mics and radios to monitors, speakers and PA systems, including those from the LD Premium Series.
In addition to being able to view the items, you will be able to buy the items in house! Not only that, but all items will have a minimum of 10% off marked prices!

If that isn't enough, the day will also include a special charity raffle. The prize for the raffle is an LD Dave10 Portable PA System, worth over £400, and exclusively signed by The Subways! Tickets cost just £1.20 each (you can buy as many as you like) and all profits go to charities chosen by the band; CLIC Sargent, the UK's leading charity for children with cancer, and The National Autistic Society.
The raffle will be drawn by a surprise mystery guest at 4pm on the day!
Tickets are available to purchase at the Graphic Nature studio complex or on our online shop (here) from now, right up until 3pm on the day of the raffle.

Come along to see the gear, test it out, ask any questions, get a great deal, enjoy the atmosphere and maybe even walk away with the prize!

Bar - Events

We are proud to sponsor various events in and around Hertfordshire.

As well as hosting our own acoustic / singer songwriter events at the studio we sponsor charity events in the local area.

Working along-side Hertford and East Herts council we promote local events like 'Rock at the Castle', Pop Luck, Music Mix, Dance it Up and Westmill Festval.

We also sponsor The Young Battle of the Bands which is held every year at the Hertford Marquee live music venue. This is great for young, up and coming musicians to not just compete but get their music heard by a large audience.

Future gig listings for the Marquee are posted underneath and are updated regularly alongside all the video footage of our events.

Rock at the Castle 2008 - Live footage

Rock At The Castle was back with a fantastic line-up of the hottest local rockers on Sunday 3rd August.

There was something there for everyone from the Vipers' swaggering and gritty rock 'n' roll through Lick 'n' Laugh's surreal yet seductive beatnik jazz to the inevitable mass conga that spontaneously erupts every time wacky ska-punks Dregs of Society hit the stage. Streetsleeper were due to perform at last year's event but had to pull out at the last minute - so Rock At The Castle was pleased to have them confirmed this year.

There were fewer artists on the acoustic stage this year, so that each could have more time (two ten-minute sets each between acts on the main stage). They were: the inimitable Rob Clydesdale, playing songs from his new album, Emotional Mechanics, Tom Dibb, who also played last year, Alan Cowley, a superb singer songwriter somewhere between Elvis Costello and David Gray, Tinlin with their Simon & Garfunkelish harmonies and, of course, Hertford's own Latino-Celtic Chanteuse, Nuala. We also had the winner of East Herts Council's annual Pop Luck competition for young vocalist, Rebecca Finnis.

To round off the day Hertford 'supergroup' the Marquee Allstars were back with a set of mainly covers featuring the leonine roar of compere Jim Distortion and Kev Saunders' feral snarl as well as members of some of Hertford's best known bands - including Perfect Distortion, The Trash, Leon Colven band, Tom Braggins Band/Hanzo, The Lullabyes, After Dark and Crimzen.

The year's lineup was, in reverse order:

The Marquee Allstars
Imperial Vipers
Broken Mile
My Echo
Dregs Of Society
Leon Colven
Band Ahead Of Time
Crew Crimzen
Ruff Justice
Lick'n'Laugh
Streetsleper
Rebecca Finnis - Pop Luck Winner
Hanzo

On the acoustic stage:
Rob Clydesdale
Tom Dibb
Nuala Alan
Cowley Tinlin
